Earnings vary significantly depending on your vehicle type, age, condition, location, market demand, seasonality, platform policies, and other factors. Chippendale Carshare does not guarantee any specific level of income, earnings, or bookings. Any earnings projections or estimates provided are for illustrative purposes only and should not be relied upon as a forecast or promise of actual results.
Our fee structure is outlined in the co-hosting agreement provided to you before any arrangement commences. Fees are deducted from gross trip revenue before owner payments are calculated. All fees and charges will be clearly disclosed in writing.
Vehicle damage during a trip is handled through the relevant peer-to-peer platform's protection program. Chippendale Carshare does not provide vehicle protection and does not guarantee any damage claim outcome. Damage claim decisions are made by the platform, and are outside of our control. We will assist in lodging and coordinating claims on your behalf, but we cannot guarantee the amount, timing, or success of any claim.
Yes. Either party may terminate the co-hosting arrangement in accordance with the terms set out in the written co-hosting agreement. Notice periods and any applicable conditions will be specified in your agreement.
During active trips, vehicles receive protection provided by Turo under their host protection plan. Outside of active trips, the vehicle owner is responsible for maintaining appropriate cover for their vehicle. Chippendale Carshare does not provide vehicle protection.
We primarily list vehicles on Turo. We may list on additional platforms at our discretion or as agreed in your co-hosting agreement. Platform availability and terms are subject to change by the platform providers.

Participating in peer-to-peer vehicle sharing involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: vehicle damage, mechanical wear and tear, depreciation, periods of low or no booking activity, changes to platform terms or policies, regulatory changes, and potential financial loss. Vehicle owners should carefully consider these risks and seek independent financial, legal, and professional advice before entering into a co-hosting arrangement.
Chippendale Carshare does not provide, arrange, or guarantee any form of vehicle protection or coverage. During active trips, vehicles may receive protection provided by Turo under their host protection plan, the terms and conditions of which are determined solely by the platform. Outside of active trips, the vehicle owner is solely responsible for maintaining appropriate cover for their vehicle. Chippendale Carshare accepts no liability for any uncovered loss or damage.
Chippendale Carshare will use reasonable endeavours to assist vehicle owners in lodging damage claims with the relevant platform. However, Chippendale Carshare does not guarantee the outcome, success, amount, or timing of any damage or protection claim. All claim decisions are made at the sole discretion of the platform provider. Chippendale Carshare accepts no liability for any claim that is denied, reduced, or delayed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chippendale Carshare's liability in connection with the co-hosting services is limited to the fees paid by the vehicle owner to Chippendale Carshare in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
Chippendale Carshare is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of Turo Inc. or any other peer-to-peer car sharing platform. Platform terms, fees, protection plans, and policies are determined solely by the platform provider and are subject to change without notice. Chippendale Carshare is not responsible for any changes to platform terms or the discontinuation of any platform service.
This disclaimer and any co-hosting arrangement are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
By engaging Chippendale Carshare's co-hosting services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer. You acknowledge that co-hosting involves risk and that no guarantees have been made to you regarding earnings, damage payouts, claim outcomes, or any other financial result. You are encouraged to seek independent legal and financial advice before entering into any co-hosting arrangement.
